Moritz Moszkowski

6 Klavierstücke, Op. 15

The 6 Klavierstücke (Six Piano Pieces), Op. 15, composed in 1877, are a collection of shorter piano works by Moritz Moszkowski that highlight his lyrical style and refined pianistic technique. Composed around the same period as his other early piano works, these pieces offer a range of moods, from tender and contemplative to spirited and playful, demonstrating his mastery of form, harmony, and pianistic color. They remain a favorite among pianists for both study and performance, providing compact yet expressive examples of Moszkowski’s compositional voice.
