The edition from Edition Peters (No. 3101) was edited by Adolf Ruthardt, and many other editions also exist.

The description for the Universal Edition states:

"Friedrich Burgmüller would probably be completely forgotten today if he had not made a name for himself as an experienced pedagogue with etudes that are easy to play but sound brilliant."
